Kia today released the first images of the new Kia Seltos ahead of its world premiere later this month.
Six years after the original model was introduced in 2019, the Seltos is reborn as a completely redesigned subcompact SUV. It strengthens Kia’s presence in the fast-growing SUV segment worldwide.
Building on its heritage as one of Kia’s most successful models worldwide, the new generation Seltos embodies authentic SUV style while expressing an avant-garde and technological character.
The design combines the robust heritage of previous combustion engine SUVs with the clean, aerodynamic sophistication of Kia’s latest electric vehicles.
Guided by Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, the exterior features strong proportions, bold finishes and technical finishes that exude confidence and agility.
The front is defined by Kia’s signature Star Map daytime running lights. A combination of horizontal and vertical lights was chosen for the rear, creating a cohesive and stable visual identity from all angles.
Recessed handles improve aerodynamic efficiency and add a touch of modern sophistication, highlighting the model’s combination of style and functionality.
Reflecting its growing ambitions, the new Seltos will introduce a wider range of exterior color options. Distinctive versions such as the X-Line and GT-Line will also be available, offering customers more freedom to confidently express their personality.
Kia will unveil the full design and product details of the next-generation Seltos during its online world premiere on December 10, which will be streamed live on Kia’s official YouTube channel.
