Last season proved to be as epic as tennis fans had ever hoped on the stages of the four Grand Slams. On the WTA side, the four titles were shared between four extremely talented players. On the men’s side, the great rivalry that has replaced the Big Three has roiled the courts and split the Grand Slams down the middle.
The WTA field remains incredibly competitive, with plenty of shockers primed and ready, while the ATP rivalry will continue to be the main theme of the men’s game in 2026. To help you have a little more fun in the upcoming tennis year, we have some ideas for you on how to create and track your own tennis bingo cards for 2026.
Choose your bingo card format
Before you start making your predictions for tennis in 2026, it is a good idea to choose your specific bingo format on which you would like to play the game. The format of bingo changes the layout of your card and, if you are playing with a group, the number of predictions you want in the pot to randomly reach everyone.
While there are now many types of bingo games, from exclusive games to dedicated gaming rooms to big money gaming rooms, we’ll focus on the differences between 75-ball and 90-ball bingo. 90-ball bingo games like Candy Room and The Penny Press use a rectangular card with 12 empty spaces and 15 spaces filled with winning picks.
On these 3×9 grids, you must complete one row of five numbers, two rows of five numbers, or all three rows to get a full house. The blank spaces on the map are caused by the way numbers are assigned to the columns. The 75 Ball Bingo game is probably the one you’re more familiar with.
Pattern Bingo, Bingo Bash and 80s Bingo all offer games with 75 or 80 balls. In each you get a 5×5 bingo card. Your potential winning numbers are ready to be painted on all fields except the middle one. You can win by going first on one or two lines and having a full house. This approach may be the better choice for tennis bingo in 2026.
What to Include in Your Tennis Bingo for 2026
The best thing to do is simply start by picking a winner for each men’s Grand Slam and include them. They will most likely place one, two, three or four picks on Carlos Alcaraz or Jannik Sinner as the ATP Tour looks set to be dominated by the duo once again. For example, type “Alcaraz wins the French Open.”
From there, it could be quite difficult to pick the winners of the WTA Grand Slam. Last year we saw Iga Świątek, Coco Gauff and Madison Keys win the first three of the year, while top seed Aryna Sabalenka finally took her spot with the US Open. Interestingly, Świątek’s Wimbledon triumph was partly due to her sudden problems on clay.
After taking part in the off-season circuit that is the Battle of the Sexes in the Middle East, Sabalenka started this year in good form and took the Brisbane title. Many assume that she will hit the ground running long before the US Open and win her first Grand Slam of the year.
Around the Grand Slams, you can include ranking predictions for certain times of the year, possible structural changes to the governing bodies and even coaching changes. 2026 will be a big year for tennis. So why not see how well your predictions match on a special bingo card?
